Drowned Rats

One of my activities this weekend was to take advantage of the hot sun and wash Rocky, my stuffed Rottweiler. It's been a few years since his last bath, and he's traveled to a few different countries during that time, so he was long overdue for another one. I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of Rocky looking woefully like a drowned rat immediately after washing him:


"What has she done to me??" says Rocky.


"Woe is me!!!" he laments :-)

All this reminded me of a cute Myspace video that I immediately added to my Favorites, and that I still view very frequently. It features none other than a Rottweiler puppy looking very sad and woeful as he takes a hated bath. His little whines when his owner asks "What happened?" spark my imagination into thinking up all sorts of human-speak replies, all along the lines of "What do you think happened? You dumped me in the bathtub and when I grow older I'm gonna bite you for that!" :-D
