Hawaiian + Welsh = English?

Ever wonder what would happen if a Hawaiian (whose native language seems to contain too many vowels) married a Welsh person (whose native language seems devoid of vowels)? Well, their children might put the 2 languages together to create one normal language, for starters ;-)

This next series of strips from this week's "Working Daze" cartoon reminded me very much of our very own Welsh friend Lisa. When we crossed the border between England and Wales on our way to her house, I could tell we were in Welsh country by the sudden absence of vowels on all the street signs ;-P Then there's the Hawaiian language, which seems to have picked up all the vowels that the Welsh threw out. Anyway, here's the results of an attempt by stereotypical upper management to increase efficiency. You can see why it made me think of you, Lisa, and why the last strip reminded me of Hawaii :-)
