Donut Peaches

Have you ever seen a donut peach? I never knew such a thing existed and so I really did a double-take when I came across these at my local Albertson's:



I couldn't resist taking a picture and blogging it, in the hopes that my produce manager friend Scot might be able to enlighten us a bit further on it ;-)

No, no hole in the middle. But nice and flat and shaped like a donut, otherwise. I wonder what it tastes like. But the fact that I'm allergic to peaches, as well as the fact that $1.99/lb is a bit pricey for my liking, kept me from buying it to try.

Ever sell these, Scot? ;-)
